Kel has been with BERL for over 40 years, and still gets a kick out of solving economic problems for people. His experience has largely been gained by doing, both in New Zealand and overseas in Tanzania, Belize and Malaysia. He has worked on a variety of projects, from helping to set up the Federation of Maori Authorities (FOMA) and Newmans Air, and to working on the economics to secure funding for the (now Westpac) Stadium in Wellington.
Ganesh Nana is Chief Economist at BERL. He joined BERL full-time in 1998. He has over 25 years of experience in the field of economics including research, tutoring and lecturing at Victoria University and a four-year stint in the UK undertaking economic forecasting and gaining experience using the IMF Multimod model.
